But you are most definitely right, the best results will be gotten by being more precise. Or a blimp. But getting answers might be hard. Seriously though you could post the question here, on craigslist list , make posters on phone poles, do the phone thing. You'd have a bitch of a time compiling the intel though. If you're reticulum reach everyone from one source you're gonna miss demographics though. If you want to get everyone you're gonna have to do different approaches based on where these people are. And the phone thing will only call local numbers.   0 0 Are you willing to spend money? There are phone polling companies that will help with reaching an audience. You could also hire a few people and come up with a plan for randomly choosing a selection of people from the phone book. I'm not sure what sort of question you're asking. Are you looking for information about whether a product would sell well here? Maybe a focus group would help. Are you looking for the city's opinion on local or national politics? Someone else may have already crunched those numbers for you.
