DVDs with continuous play?

When a movie ends, the DVD often goes back to the main menu and loops on that forever. Can you think of a movie that plays continuously on DVD? For instance, Interview With a Vampire briefly returns to the menu after the end credits finish rolling, then the movie automatically resumes from the beginning.

I ask because a friend has a sleep disorder-type-thing and, good or bad, the friend is sometimes soothed by playing a movie all night. But, a looping menu soundtrack is no good.

    If you're handy with software, I'd just find out what his favorite movies are, rip them, then use any decent DVD or nonlinear video software to set them on a loop.

    You should be able to do that with Nero or Sony Vegas. I recall being able to do that with either.

    Look for a player that has a continuous loop function as a feature. They are commonly used in presentation booths at trade shows and other places where you want a DVD to continuously replay.


    I just searched for "dvd player loop function" and there were several listed, such as this one, and only $32.
