Looking for a recommendation for a solution for snoring

I have been tested recently for sleep apnea and I am not apnic. I simply snore and it's driving my wife nuts. I want to put an end to it but I am having a bit of trouble finding a provider who can make me an oral appliance AND bill my insurance. (I am grateful for my health and dental insurance and want to use it!) I am told that some devices can be $3000-4000 and while I don't want to shell out that kind of dough, I am hoping there are better solutions than the cheap "boil and bite" devices I've seen on Amazon and elsewhere.
Can anyone recommend a good provider who can help me?
I have also heard radio spots for "pillar procedure" and other 'simple' outpatient procedures - do any of them work? They seem like snake oil solutions to me.

Separate bedrooms. Tragic, indeed, but making your partner lose sleep night after night is so much worse than the separate bedroom arrangement until the solution you want is at hand.

I have heard good things about the oral appliance, though. It works for someone/ a couple I know, and they have the expensive kind. I'm no help as far as how to acquire one without shelling out the dough.. But, the one free and accessible change is with sleeping quarters.

Tennis ball and a t-shirt don't work for you? (You sew the ball to the shirt so you don't sleep on your back)

I would strongly recommend the cheap boil and bite method first (they're $30 or so) just to see if using an oral device isn't going to cause you to gag. There's no point in dropping thousands on something that you can't tolerate in your mouth, and a cheapy mouthguard style device is a good test. Plus, they do work well enough for some people.

Have you considered those adheasive band aide devices which hold the nasal passages open? Can't think of what they're called...."Breath Right"?
