Writer, seeking information about Seattle night scene

In specific I am curious as to where in specific I could go in Seattle to experience the dark underbelly of the city. Specifically, if I was a woman looking for a good scare, where in Seattle would I have to go to find it. Bars, Clubs, restaraunts, any social setting/neighborhood you think would fit my before stated description. Thanks for your help.

    Nah, the real answer is any cheap strip club owned by sleazy men-- like the late Rick's
    Or the corner of Othello and MLK at 1am or later.
    Or the homeless encampments under the overpasses of I-5

    The real questions are -- are you asking so you might write about it secondhand, or so you might go an experience it? and What do you consider 'underbelly'?
