How to find ipa file in an old backup?

Hey! I finally found an old backup and I might have a chance that the Airfoil app is part of this backup. How can I view what's inside and then get my ipa back if it's there?

    Sorry, not sure about how to do that. I use Time Machine for my daily backups. For me it was as simple as finding the location of the new file, going back in time and seeing the old file in it's place and copying it.
