Where can I find a cheap restaurant like Norm's in Los Angeles?

In Los Angeles there is a restaurant called Norm's. It is much like a Denny's in some ways. Typical "diner" fair and atmosphere. I am not saying it is the best quality food, but it hit the spot. Most nights you could get a steak and shrimp combo for $9.99. It also included a salad AND a soup AND a piece of garlic toast. Sure the steak definitely needed some A1, but it was a ton of food for $10. Is there something like that here in Seattle at that price point and worth eating? Thanks!

    The 5 Point Cafe downtown on Cedar between 4th and 5th. Cheap, large portions, and open 24 hours. It's not exactly diner atmosphere (think dive bar with a capable kitchen), but I think it's what you are looking for.
