How much money will you make working at a resturant, bar, or other service industry job in Seattle?

Moving to Seattle in the near future and I was curious what you can make monthly working at a mid-upscale restaurant in downtown Seattle? I'll be on the job hunt within the next couple months and I want to know what my options are. I wouldnt want any fast food jobs and would really prefer to work at a local joint rather than a national chain. Any help is much appreciated!

My boyfriend works in a nicer, small, locally owned Italian restaurant and pulls $100 to $220 on average per night just in tips. He makes more money than I do at my "real" job, easily.
