I'm a big Johnny Cash fan, and he spent the last years of his career doing covers. Hard to pick a favorite, but I'd probably have to say Mercy Seat.

I'm also, coincidentally, a big Nick Cave fan.

Always and forever: This Mortal Coil 'Song to the Siren'. Elizabeth Fraser outdoes Tim Buckley by a mile on it, and that is a nearly impossible feat.

PS. Are you fishing for RCMTC suggestions?

My favorite has to be Big Yellow Taxi by the Counting Crows. It was originally done by Joni Mitchell in the late 60's (I think). I like her version too but I really like the Counting Crows more. How to Increase Penis Size

Currently it's Jon Simon's piano-only version of the Beatles' "Blackbird". Gorgeously lush, with about a million notes. Have only ever heard it on Muzak and an MP3(?) website.
