What do you do when a bartender gives you a free drink? So, I ordered a drink then another about half an hour later. The bill came and it was only for one drink. Befuddled, I asked, "did you know you only rang this up for for one?" and was answered with just a wink. I tipped her more than usual for the one drink but not as much as the two together would have cost, thinking for no particular reason that it was the right thing to do (accept the nice gesture and tip more than usual). Was this at all close to the right response? |
