The Wild Mountain Cafe!!! A well endowed menu and amazingly tasty and delicious food! (I would highly recommend "The Vince") Also the fact that it was once a house lends it a very cozy atmosphere. If you don't end up going there for that breakfast, take her on another one and take her here!!! Yumyum!!

    1408 NW 85th St.

If Queen Anne counts as North Seattle to you, then I recommend the 5 Spot (1502 Queen Anne Ave N). It's a fun place with a rotating menu, and their French Toast (a mainstay) is amazing.

If you get there anytime after 9:30 or 10 am, you might have to wait a bit, but it's worth it.

Update: I've never been, but I've also heard great things about Patty's Eggnest in Greenwood (9749 Holman Rd NW).

Hmm, I've NEVER had a good breakfast experience at all at the Blue Star. But it's busy every weekend, so maybe I've just had a long string of bad luck.
Not sure how they haven't been mentioned, but all the chow foods places - Coastal Kitchen, Hi Life, Endolyne Joes, etc. are always reliably awesome.
Oh wait, someone mentioned 5 Spot - that too.

I never have been to the one on 85th but Patty's Egg Nest off Holman Rd is awesome. Beth's is a classic for greasy spoon foods and Mae's Phinney Ridge cafe is yummy, although popular and there may be a line.

Blue Star in Wallingford. Huge list of scramble and omelet options yummy homemade scones and freezer jam plus choice of fruit salad or breakfast potatoes (pretty standard option I know but they're are awesome). My favorite place for breakfast in the city by far.
I've also heard Portage Bay Cafe in Ballard and U District (and Eastlake maybe?) is fantastic but the line is always out the door so I never bother.
