Really though, I guess I do have a "type," but I've never disregarded someone because they weren't it. I can say that blondes don't really do it for me.

I tend to love petite, exotic (read:someone who is beautiful in the non-Barbie way) women with a sharp wit. But when I get around women like that, I get too shy to flirt effectively, which sucks for me and is lucky for them.

Dudes- scruffy, smart, and creative.

Women- either really feminine and smart/pulled together, or more tom boyish and reckless.

Seriously though- I don't have a serious type on either end. Every time I think I do I'm proven wrong. I just like them smart, creative, and sexy, which can mean a million different things.

Tall. I have a serious preoccupation with tall. I've dated plenty of "types" and don't have any set parameters (I prefer smart and packing, if we're naming particulars), but a tall guy will generally turn my head, even if he's not very conventionally attractive. (I know women only seeking tall dudes is a common complaint of the not-so-tall, but I'm 5'10", so I don't think preferring tall guys is unreasonable).

As far as girls go, I have two specific types: girls who look like boys, or girls who look like me. I don't mean like me in a creepy doppelganger way, just in a similar aesthetic/body-style kind of way. Boys that look like girls can also be hot, but generally not as hot as girls who look like boys. Go figure.

I don't think I have a type I always go for, but there are people that I always find attractive: Tattoos and an obscure sense of style pretty much does it for me, with both gals and guys.

I'm mostly a fan of east Asian or American/western European-looking white girls.

As a great generalization I prefer my white girls: happy and bubbly, glasses, non-slutty clothes, "indie".

Asian girls: hard-to-get, smoke-y sexy, bitchy, revealing or skimpy clothes.

And I would definitely prefer my men unhairy but with distinctly masculine facial features.

I have a type - tall, skinny brunets (that's the male brunette)who wear glasses...preferably with their nose in a book.
However, if I look back on them all, most of my boyfriends haven't fit that description at all and I was turned on by most of them anyway.

Physically, I don't have a type, but I just can't get attracted to stupid people.

I generally prefer big (as in muscular with some pudge) guys with dark hair, but there are lots of exceptions. The guy I'm currently lusting after is kind of short and wiry with longish hair. He actually looks like the type I was attracted to when I was in high school.

I also had a pre-pubescent crush on Michael J. Fox, so I still have a soft spot for short, nervous guys with squeaky voices.

Nope! I have a lot of friends who do (including some who get strangely specific), but I've been lucky enough not to have any preferences. Sometimes I'm even surprised by the people I'm attracted to. There are definitely traits that I like (intelligent, independent, witty, fit, food-oriented), but in my experience those traits span a lot of types.
