Where can I buy and launch model rockets in Seattle?

what can I say, I have the same interests as an 11 year old nerd.

    Gary's Games in Greenwood carries estes products.

    Magnuson makes a great place to launch.

    Certain hobby stores carry the rockets. Maybe visit American Eagles Hobby Shop in Lake City (which does have rockets):

    Where to launch may depend on the type you're launching (i.e. how high it will be going). You could always check with a local-ish group for suggestions (an example: http://www.washingtonaerospace.org/ ).

    There are many older people around here into rockets, rc copters, rc planes, and so on. Don't don't feel embarrassed by the interest. (If you're also into rc copters, check out http://barnowlsnw.org/ ).
