What happened to all those dumbass Larouche supporters?

I haven't seen them around in while.
(and I'm not complaining)

I still see them downtown (where I live) all the time, but they seem to be acting more stealth these days. Rather than setting up tables they seem to be just standing around with their Obama/Hitler signs and brochures.

I still see LaDouchies much more than I would like. I wish that old bastard would go take his dirt nap, so the gullible dimwits that slaver over him would find another hobby.

I still see them around, and, yes, they're less aggressive. Lucky for them. If they tried to harass me, I'd just use Barney Frank's dining room table line.

They will always be around. I see them on Broadway occasionally.

I remember seeing them outside of state Democratic conventions when I lived in Sacramento. Even though Larouche has ran as a Democratic presidential candidate since like the Andrew Jackson days, the Democratic Party shuns these freaks. I think he runs as a Democrat because the rules of the party make it easier for people to get on the ballot during the primaries than the Republicans.

A few years ago, when I worked on Senator Cantwell's re-election campaign, about a dozen Larouchies protested the Bush Administartion at a rally we held at UW. They sang a horrible song about the Constitution and Bush and Cheney at the top of their voices. Very rude; plus, why interrupt our rally to protest a Republican president? How very stupid.

I got a little irritated with them screaming at us so I asked one of them, a little Asian woman, what she was going to do after her cult leader died.

Oh boy! She tried to take a swing at me and had to be restrained by one of her fellow cult members.

    What a bunch of nuts.

It's been a little bit since I was down there during the day, but during the summer months they were frequently set up on the corner across from Victor Steinbrueck Park. Yeah, they had the Obama-as-Hitler signs up, and yeah, they were definitely more mellow than I remember. They weren't even trying to call people over; they were just waiting for potential brain-washing candidates to come to them.
