Is there a fabulous tattoo artist in the Seattle area who specializes in cover-ups?

I've got a piece on my lower back that I'd love to get rid of and am willing to go really big and/or do some amount of lightening/removal to make something work. I saw a posting for scar cover-ups, but am wondering if anyone's had/heard of good experiences with someone who needs to ink over ink.

James Kern, in Portland, is an *amazing* artist who does a lot of cover-up work. He also gives classes on doing cover-ups when he's on tour.

Jeff Cornell of Hidden Hand is fantastic! And a star at black & grey work.
Will Bodnar at Cicada Tattoo is pretty damn good to. Will's creations are super-colorful....everything from complex flowers to monsters. Maybe you could get it lightened a hair by laser and do something totally different.

I recommend Jacqueline Beach at Red Iris Studios. She's done some creative and challenging cover-ups in her time. :-)

If that's a picture of you and your back, then two things strike me:

    First, it's rather attractively done.
    Second, it's really large!

I guess the moral of the story is think twice before getting any tatoo...and concider it permanent.
