Is there any place in Seattle where you can get an old fashioned turkey sandwich (like the kind you make at home the day after Thanksgiving)?

Bakeman's in Pioneer Square is exactly what you are looking for. The rude staff is part of its charm. (They are actually pretty funny, it is just a schtick. But do be ready to order.)

Typical exchange: I go up to the lunch counter and order for two. "What, aren't you hungry?" I'm here with a friend. "Ok, so this is for her. What are you gonna have?" This is it. Can I have a pickle please? "Get it yourself!"

I love it. Bring cash and a sense of humor.

Try Ralph's Grocery right by the Cinerama. I haven't been there for some time but I think they might have had one??

    Six Arms offers:

TURKEY SANDWICH half $5.50 whole $9.20
With Swiss cheese, cranberry relish, lettuce, tomato,
red onion, & secret sauce on whole grain wheat bread

    (sadly, no stuffing)

I second kitschnsync's recommendation of Bakeman's. More info/reader-reviewers freaking out about how good it is over here.
