Stalker song suggestions

I'm making a playlist of songs that are (intentionally or unintentionally) about kind of creepy, stalkerish relationships. For example, "Every Breath You Take" by The Police (not necessarily meant to be creepy) or "Don't Break the Heart" by MonoPuff (meant to be creepy), or even "I will Possess Your Heart" by Death Cab for Cutie. I only have about 6 songs so far but I know there are many more. Suggestions, please?

    The Handsome Family "Arlene"

"But when I saw you at Red's pouring coffee
Something took a hold of me
Arlene, you wouldn't even let me hold your hand
When I stopped you in the road you just screamed and ran
That night I decided I was gonna marry you
My knife went through your screen door
And I went away with you
You were singing "Please let me go""

Roky Erickson "You Don't Love Me Yet" - could easily be stalkerish.

The Golden Palominos "Victim" - which is from a girl who has been kidnapped POV (and a very scary song, almost a snuff song).

"I feel the motion of the car before I open my eyes.
    The air is blue-black, brown-black, black-black.
    Smell of gas, oil, animals.
    I'm in the trunk.

    My wrists and ankles tied.
    Tape over my mouth
    it almost covers my nose
    but I can breathe barely.
I must have been here for hours,
everything's stiff and my head throbs
    like someone's drumming on china."

And Thomas Dolby's cover of "I Scare Myself" (originally done by Dan Hicks & His Hot Licks):

"I scare myself just thinking about you
I scare myself when I'm without you
I scare myself the moment that you're going
I scare myself when I let my thoughts run
    and when they're running
    I keep thinking of you
    and when they're running
    what can I do?

I scare myself, and I don't mean lightly
I scare myself, it can get frightening
I scare myself, to think what I could do
I scare myself -- it's some kind of voodoo...
    and with that voodoo
    I keep thinking of you
    and with that voodoo
    what can I do?

but it's so so very different when we're together
and I'm so so much calmer; I feel better
'cause the stars already crossed our paths forever
and the sooner that you realise it the better
and then I'll be with you and I won't scare myself"

    PJ Harvey, "Rid of Me"

    Tie yourself to me
    No one else
No, you're not rid of me
Hmm you're not rid of me

    Night and day I breathe
    Ah hah ay
Hey, you're not rid of me
Yeah, you're not rid of me

    I beg you, my darling
    Don't leave me, I'm hurting

Lick my legs I'm on fire
    Lick my legs of desire

    I'll tie your legs
    Keep you against my chest
Oh, you're not rid of me
Yeah, you're not rid of me
I'll make you lick my injuries
I'm gonna twist your head off, see

Till you say don't you wish you never never met her?
Don't you don't you wish you never never met her?
Don't you don't you wish you never never met her?
Don't you don't you wish you never never met her?

"There She Goes Again" by the Velvet Undergound
"Now take a look, there's no tears in her eyes
Like a bird, you know she would fly, what can you do
You see her walkin' on down the street
Look at all your friends that she's gonna meet
    You better hit her "

"You Can't Do That" by the Beatles
"I got something to say that might cause you pain,
If I catch you talking to that boy again,
    I'm gonna let you down,
    And leave you flat,
Because I told you before, oh,
    You can't do that."
(not quite as creepy as "Little Girl", suggested by Cagey, but they might make a nice little medley)

Honorable Mention: "Private Eyes" by Hall and Oates, "One Way or Another" by Blondie, "Night Prowler" by AC/DC

It's No Good - Depeche Mode

    I'm gonna take my time
I have all the time in the world
    To make you mine
It is written in the stars above
    The gods decree
You'll be right here by my side
    Right next to me
You can run, but you cannot hide

    Don't say you want me
    Don't say you need me
    Don't say you love me
    It's understood
    Don't say you're happy
    Out there without me
    I know you can't be
    'cause it's no good

    Simeon's Dilemma by Why?

    "Stalker's my whole style
And if I get caught I'll deny, deny, deny

Today you're twenty-five, I made you something fine
It's in the palm of my new hand, it's out
You're mostly what I think about and I'm proud
I've been coasting on this singles route
But I still hear your name in wedding bells
Will I look better or will I look the same rotting in hell?
You're the only proper noun I need
Hurry, my copper crown's gone green
Pull me, pull me on out of this tree
I'm stuck up a branch waiting
Clearly caught between two things unclear to me

Are you a female young messiah for stowaways in dugouts?
And are you what church folk mean by "the good news"?
    Pulling plastic bags off heads
Or are you giving me a dirty look in the rear view, clicking the button on your U-Haul pen?
Don't pretend you didn't see me coming round the bend
On my fixie with the chopped horns turned in
    Trailing behind your biodiesel Benz

    Stalker's my whole style
And if I get caught I'll deny, deny, deny

Twenty-five carved with a butter knife
On the palm of my new hand, it's out
    You're mostly what I think about "

"I Want You" by Elvis Costello is pretty creepy:
    "I want you
You've had your fun you don't get well no more
    I want you
Your fingernails go dragging down the wall
Be careful darling you might fall...

    I want you
Go on and hurt me then we'll let it drop
    I want you
I'm afraid I won't know where to stop"

And I agree with the suggestion of "Run for Your Life" by the Beatles.

    "Catch You" by Sophie Ellis-Bextor - is straight-up about stalking. ( http://www.songmeanings.net/songs/view/3530822107858645345/ )

"You'll Never Stop Me From Loving You" by Sonia - 1980's cheesy pop hit in UK, very up-temp and cheery, till you listen to the lyrics and realize that the singer is having some real issues with letting go - "When I know that you're alone / I wander to your home / And catch a glimpse or two" - yikes! ( http://www.mp3lyrics.org/s/sonia/youll-never-stop-me-loving-you/ )

"Tyler" by the Toadies off their album Rubberneck

    "Tyler"

And she runs through her days with a smile on her face
And she runs, and she waits, and I wait

We can drive to anyplace, day or night, across the state
And in the morning, into Mexico, we will wake up

I find a window in the kitchen, and I let myself in
Rummage through the refrigerator, find myself a beer
I can't believe I'm really here, and she's lying in that bed
I can almost feel her touch, and her anxious breath!

I stumble in the hallway, outside the bedroom door
I hear her call out to me, I hear the fear in her voice
She pulls the covers tighter, I press against the door

I will be with her tonight!

"I Still Can't Get Over Loving You", Ray Parker Jr's follow-up to Ghostbusters! 80s RnB awesomeness at it's absolute creepiest:

There's no way that this thing is through, no
Not yet, I ain't through lovin' you
    I'm gettin' mad, girl
Don't you ever try to leave, no, no
It'll be the last thing you'll ever do, oh

This song seriously scarred me as a child. The video is great too -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YmqBzfAra_U

"Behind The Walls Of Sleep" by The Smithereens. My favorite.

"The More You Ignore Me, The Closer I Get" by Morrissey. But of course. (And there's probably about a dozen Smiths and Morrissey songs I could add to this -- "Paint A Vulgar Picture," though the love object has died; "Last of the Famous International Playboys," though the desired is in prison, etc.)

"One Way Or Another" by Blondie, though it twists at the end. And a cover by them as well, "I'm Going To Love You Too."

"Brass In Pocket," by Pretenders (maybe).

"Somebody's Watching Me," by Rockwell. For that matter, a bunch of Michael Jackson songs you should already know.

Would you believe that I actually made a playlist titled "Creeper" about six months ago?

    Some highlights:

Tegan and Sara- Living Room. First line: "My windows look into your living room"

Islands- Creeper. "Creeper in my home, crawled in through the window"

Radiohead- All I Need. "I am a moth who just wants to share your light/I'm just an insect trying to get out of the night/I only stick with you because there are no others/You are all I need"

    Morrissey- Girlfriend in a Coma

The Stryder- Intoxicated "Can you feel me breathing on your skin/whisper on your neck/Can you feel it rolling from your chin/right down to your breasts/Can you feel my eyelashes begin/to open on your cheeks/Can you feel me staring 'cus I'm staring/My heart's about to leak/but you're fast asleep/You don't feel a thing/I speak/and you don't hear a thing."

Here's for obvious: The Stalker- Piebald

I'll be around every corner you go. Don't you look so surprised.
I'll be in every dressing room that you're in.
I'll be holding every door you walk through. You don't even have to say thanks.
I'll get groceries at the same time as you.
    Don't think I don't know what suits you well. Don't think I don't know.
I'll be in every smoky corner you've seen counting your drinks.
I'll be the guy who drives past your house.
I'll be hiding behind your mirror watching you crimp your hair.
I'll follow you with sunglasses on.
I'll be looking through your windows at night.
Watching you sleep. I will see you at your big game.
I'll be at the same parties as you, and I'll meet you in the closet.
I'll follow you home when the sun comes up

Mark Lanegan's "Don't Forget Me" is the creepiest stalker song:

    Cool water divine
Now I'm thirsty with nowhere to go
And what else do we find
    But sorrow and misery untold
I know you got somebody new
    Much better than me
When that change starts to swing, keep in mind one thing
    Don't forget me dear
And when you're lost I feel it too
    Woman make life sweet
Because of what you do, all my world is you
Now I know it's not easy don't believe them when they say I'm not right
Don't put a hex on me baby
Because I don't know what's wrong or right
I know that there's somebody new
    Much better than me
But because my love is true, all my best to you
    Don't forget me dear
And when you're alone please take care
    Don't go walking after dark
Shine a light behind the stair
Remember what might be in there
    Cool water divine
Now I'm thristier with nowhere to go
    It's sorrow that we find
I'm thirstier with no where to go
I know that there's somebody new
    Much better than me
When that change starts to swing, keep in mind one thing
    Don't forget me dear
Because my love is true, give my best to you
    Don't forget me dear

    Pere Ubu- Codex

I think about you all of the time
    I did this,
    and I went there,
and I think about you all of the time
    The day fades away,
    and the night passes over,
and I think about you all of the time
I think about you all of the time
    Here come my shoes
    Here comes me!
    One, two;

    Step after step,
    block after block,
I think about you all of the time
    The day fades away,
    and the night passes over,
and I think about you all of the time
I think about you all of the time

    Eternal Flame - The Bangles

Close your eyes, give me your hand, darling
Do you feel my heart beating, do you understand?
Do you feel the same, am I only dreaming?
Is this burning an eternal flame?

I believe it's meant to be, darling
I watch when you are sleeping, you belong to me
Do you feel the same, am I only dreaming
Or is this burning an eternal flame?

Say my name, sun shines through the rain
A whole life so lonely, and then you come and ease the pain
I don't want to lose this feeling

I watch you when you are sleeping?!? SO STALKERY! Plus the burning she mentions could be referring to a VD she either gave or got. Ouch!

I saw the Conway Twitty song above and had to add another of his, 'You've Never Been This Far Before'. Yeesh.

I can almost hear the stillness
As it yields to the sound of your heart beating bum bum bum
And I can almost hear the echo
Of the thoughts that I know you must be thinking bum bum bum
And I can feel your body tremble
As you wonder what this moment holds in store bum bum bum
And as I put my arms around you
I can tell you've never been this far before bum bum bum

    I don't know what I'm saying
As my trembling fingers touch forbidden places bum bum bum
    I only know I've waited
For so long for the chance that we are taking bum bum bum
    I don't know and I don't care
What made you tell him you don't love him anymore bum bum bum
And as I taste your tender kisses
I can tell you've never been this far before bum bum bum

And as I take the love you're giving
I can feel the tension building in your mind uh huh huh
    And you're wondering if tomorrow
I'll still love you like I'm loving you tonight uh huh huh
You have no way of knowing but tonight will only make me love you more
And I hope that you'll believe me
Cause I know you've never been this far before bum bum bum bum bum

I always thought A-Ha's 'Take on Me' was mad stalker-ish. Take a look:

"Oh the things that you say
    Is it life or
Just a play my worries away
You're all the things I've got to remember
    You're shying away
I'll be coming for you anyway

Take on me, take me on
    I'll be gone
    In a day or two"

    What?!

Conway Twitty – "I Can't See Me Without You"

I can't see you in my arms anymore
And I can't see me without you

Is it day, is it night
    Am I losing my sight
Is it over, are we really through
I can't see you in my arms
    anymore
And I can't see me without you
    (chorus)
I can't see me without you to lean on
And I can't see you leaving or gone
I could never see anything you wanted me to
And I can't see me without you.

I see the house, you once called your home
And I see the door you walked through
And I see the road you're leaving me on
But I can't see me without you
    (chorus)

Def Leppard - Two Steps Behind
    Animotion - Obsession

And frankly, Bryan Adams's "(Everything I Do) I Do It For You" is pretty creepy:

Oh, you can't tell me it's not worth tryin' for
    I can't help it; there's nothin' I want more
I would fight for you, I'd lie for you
Walk the wire for you, yeah I'd die for you
    You know it's true
Everything I do, I do it for you

"The Prowl" by Dan Auerbach (of The Black Keys) is pretty literal:

I see you walkin’ after dark
    Trading looks with other men
But I’m the only one you need
And I know just where you’ve been

Oh can’t you see the tears I cried
And soak them up like a towel
For now I’ll be one step behind
Oh girl you got me on the prowl
