How long do I have to keep being nice to my ex?

We broke up a little over a year ago. she says she can't deal with seeing me in public places. It's a small scene. How long do I have to go on being nice and saying "Sure, I'll go to the first half of the show and you can go to the second half." or "ok I won't go to that reading so you can go."?
I want to just ignore her and get on with my life. At what point can I say, "just get over it already!"?
for reference, I did not cheat on her or do anything dastardly to her except start dating her other ex. and I am female also. which i guess is a given since straight people don't process this much.

    Dan is right--a year! This is manipulation, big time. You're both adults and it sounds like you've been more than understanding.
    And PS--straight people do process this much!
