  0 0 no. i got hung up on a tricky bit. turned out not to have been a problem, because i guess i overpaid in withholdings (which i strive never to do). still haven't filed it yet. point being (some people may not have been aware of this) that you can file your tax return as late as you want, provided that you don't *owe* any money for the year... cakes answered in City Living over 3 years ago | Report 2 comments by "Cagey" and cakes… 0 0 You MAY be right... however, if you are wrong, I'd hate to see some penalties leveled. I say, let them take their withholding amounts, and then make damn sure that you get your return prepared by April 15th, so that you get as much of it back in a refund as you can... instead of falling short, and then paying a penalty for not having enough withheld and being LATE!
