  7 5 This may come as a shock, but bartenders are just like regular people (only a little bit cooler) First of all , make sure you're not drunk when you do this. Slip her a note with your phone number, tell her that you understand that she's working and you want to respect that but let her know that you're interested in her and would like to take her on a proper date, ask her to give you a call if she's interested. If she doesn't call don't be a jack ass to her the next time you see her take it as a sign she's just not into you and then let it go. If she does call take out on a real date (dinner, movie etc.) Bartenders get hit on all the time, you just have to let her know you're asking her out because you like her, not because you're drunk and horny and she's an easy target.   2 1 remember, she is working for tips and is supposed to be friendly with everyone. if you're the only one at the bar and you have a long conversation it's not necessarily because she's into you; she's a captive audience and has no choice. also, never ever ever reach over the bar to touch her, you will get yourself smacked and shamed.
