Now this is complicated. You could go by simple mathematics and choose Paul Bunyan or someone like that. Then when they are shrunk the will still be enormous and you could make them do all the heavy lifting during the fights. This would allow you to sit back and eat frozen yogurt or caviar.

Or, and this is probably the way I would go, I would choose someone I dislike. Someone like that guy who was swearing at me on the bus today. I would shrink him, and then I would eat garlic, interrupt his thoughts and bath him in my bad breath. while he helplessly watches me fight crime from my shoulder. That will show you bus-yelling guy!

Yes sir! Currently garagebanding the last batch of demos that will likely end up on the first Mal de Mer full length. I am also playing with The Young Evils and we have a pretty busy summer so mdm studio work will happen over the next few months in fun little pockets. We put out the Bubble Bobble 7" in February and don't want the full length to come out too far behind it so probably in the fall, definitely before the end of the year. We are really excited to share it with everyone!

This year will be the best year by far for heavy music. Akimbo, Smooth Sailing, Black Queen and Vultures 2012 all playing the same show? This is possibly one of the best shows of the year, let alone the festival. We, Princess, are playing this show too, but I'm personally super excited to see Smooth Sailing again. Totally killer band. Metal aside, there are new venues this year too.

One of the best aspects of NFTN is that its line-up always embraces local up-and-coming acts that are pretty diverse. It seems like there has been an explosion of summer festivals in recent years and this one stays fresh and differs from years past by bringing all sorts of styles with a big NW emphasis.

Youth Rescue Mission, The First Times, Fresh Espresso and Ononos speak to that.

Thanks Mandy for the question! Choosing Real Change was a unanimous Noise for the Needy staff decision. All of us are familiar with the wonderful vendors who sell the informative Real Change papers outside of PCC, QFC etc and on so many Seattle street corners. The paper offers and opportunity for these vendors -who are low income and or homeless to make some income rather than panhandle. However Real Change does a lot more for the community as you can see on their web site-http://www.realchangenews.org/

They've long been advocates for social justice-which has the potential to improve living conditions for all of us.

Real Change has such positive recognition for all the bands we solicited to play the festival as well. That made it easy for many of them to volunteer for the cause.

I would guess that we hope to make as much as we can for the charity and want to exceed last years amount which was in the 25k neighborhood.
