I don't have any experience with Webcomics, but I make and maintain both regular Web sites and blogs. So if this is all new to you, you should really go with a blog.

You can create a free blog at Wordpress.com. You can set it up as private, and figure it out yourself. When you are ready to go public, it is easy to change the settings.

There are many free templates available, and with a little searching, you will probably be able to find a few crafted for online comics.

And if you search "how to wordpress" in Youtube, there are a lot of step-by-step instructions.

Here are some examples of some terrific Webcomics that use WordPress.

Anatomy is critical important. Once you understand how to render a human body accurately, so that it looks right in multiple positions, then you can start bending the rules, so that it is stylized.

(It doesn't work the other way around.)

The Hulk has a healing factor on par with Wolverine. That wouldn't do the trick.

At the risk of revealing myself as even more of dork, I must add that Hulk, as the alter ego of a genius, is occasionally a genius himself. Sometimes Banner is even in control of the Hulk.

In an amalgamated universe, we must assume that kryptonite exists just as Superman exists- they are intertwined. I'm sure that a genius-level Hulk could find a way to exploit that weakness.

These kinds of questions never have definite answers, of course. It's all about creative interpretation.

I hadn't seen this. Mostly because I got into comics only about 5 years ago. I'll have to point this out to my friend. Superman is tough as hell, but for some reason I've never been a huge fan. But this does confirm that Captain Marvel (and I'm sure the others I listed) could also take Hulk.

The point is, don't get caught up in the details of setting up what you need to display what you're doing. Just do your best at making comics, build up a catalog & worry about the presentation later.

    Good luck with your endeavours!

When you go live with your Webcomic, please post the Web address back here. I look forward to tuning in.

    Thanks for the encouragement.

Well, that's disconcerting, especially the part about how your friend got frustrated and gave up on her dream...
