    Thanks! Yes, we oil it, but it's been a while since the last use, and we accidentally stored it with the lid on last time, so that might have been the problem. I think it might be a rust issue, if you have any tips for that.
    I love the salt tip. Good idea!

    Thanks, this is helpful! I've been oiling it after each wash, but when I put it away last time I forgot to crack the lid. So, on closer inspection, it looks like it might be a rust issue. :( Any tips?

    Just saw your above comment about the IUDs :( What about diaphragms and female condoms? Both are best if used with spermicide.

    I like your science-y answer :) I know I've probably eaten much worse stuff without realizing it. And yes, the mold tasted awful. I realized that if slightly spoiled bread was somehow able to mutate into toxic death mold, they would probably mention that on the label.

    I saw a bad ass hamburger cake (with fries) at the QFC in U-Village. I don't know if it's a seasonal thing or what, but they had 3 or 4. I bet you could custom order one. No idea on price, sorry!

    Whatever you prefer. We used to always have dill and sour pickles so I used that. Ditto for the juice that comes in pickled pepperoncinis.
