  Do you know of any pre-1990 examples of Medieval fantasy that somehow involved spaceships or other highly technological elements?

  1 0 A place to look also is through the portfolios of Boris Vallejo, Frank Franzetta, Clyde Caldwell, and Larry Elmore. Didnt Barbara Hambly right a series about Humans besieged by the "Dark" or something. While it didnt have spaceships werent there really advanced flamethrowers or something? Also the AD&D setting SpellJammer was published in 1989. It was all about flying spaceships powered by magic through space to crystal spheres containing various worlds.   2 0 Try real butcher shops Go down to Bob's Quality Meats on Ranier or Double DD in Mountlake Terrace. You could also try A & J on Queen Anne or Don & Joe's Downtown - though they often have a little less of a selection.   0 0 I personally agree with you but it does have a big following. It seems quite successful as a gateway especially since it can be visually interesting on the table.   What's a good game for someone who loves Settlers of Catan?

  1 0 The next games in that evolution are often Ticket to Ride or Carcassone. I will also say go to boardgamegeek.com and explore. There are tons of great games out there.   0 0 Norms in Freemont has good wings (with a little bbq flavor) WingMasters in Ballard has decent wings and some good white trash people watching. The Attic in Madison Park has always been quality.
