    Actually, I just bought some "dimmable" CFL's today at the Maple Leaf Ace Hardware, about $12 each. Truth is, they're not that great (their "dim" isn't that dim and sometimes flickers or goes out altogether). But I got tired of replacing the standard bulbs every couple of months and thought I'd give these a try.

    Well, I am a straight male and I'm turning 40, and I, like a lot of other straight men I know, feel like I am becoming invisible. The gay men I know of the same age don't feel the same. So, in my mind, sexual orientation is relevant.
