Because it would have been so much easier to have just aborted it in the first place. Or better yet, use a condom. If you put up with gaining 40 pounds and getting weird looking ankles and all those prenatal doctors exams where they demand you tell them if you're getting high or not, and then went through labor, and then paid $40 freaking thousand for a caesarian, you've invested a lot.

That totally reminds me about that thing last night in Ballard. Backfire Motorcycle Night. Did you go? It was freaking cool. There were all these rat bikes and cafe racers people had done up. No like those bizarre arlen ness choppers that look like nobody would ever want to ride anywhere on it. I'm talking about stripped down bikes that are some regular guys vision, you know? His vision of a great bike, and he did it all himself. And they do it EVERY MONTH! All summer! It's at the Bit Saloon and they have a web site.

My wife all of a sudden was enthused about the old bike I'm restoring, just so we'd have something cool to bring to Backfire! We had tacos and burritos a few blocs away at that new taco truck on 15th. Taco Loco. Check it out!

I used to have this schizophrenic who would get in my cab and start mumbling rapid-fire everything the demons told him to say. If you're entering something like "C:/home/me/mypictures/me.jpg" into the field that says "Image URL", you're doing it wrong.  C:/ is not a URL, it's a local path.  URLs need to be hosted on some other web server, then you can copy the URL to the Image URL field.  I use Picasa.

Right click on a picture that you know should work. Like somebody else's picture. Their picture must be right or it wouldn't be there. Then try uploading that as your picture. It it works, then you know there is something wrong with your file, either too large, or the wrong format.

If it doesn't work, then it is probably your browser (clear your cache, enable cookies) or a weird internet connection.

Once you know the answer, you can upload your own picture.
