    What is a good Gin drink thats not a Martini or a 2 item mix?

    I love a Sidecar made with gin. I think it's best with juice from a Meyer lemon (which also gives you the foodies' vote for the more difficult to find lemon juice.

    What is a good place to camp in a tent in the redwoods, preferably accessible easily from San Francisco?

    There are a couple of choices. For tent camping, Big Basin Redwoods State Park is beautiful, in the Santa Cruz Mtns, 2 hours South from SF. You'll need to rent a car for this one.

    For viewing redwoods, you can go to Muir Woods in Marin County (north of SF, across the Golden Gate Bridge) This is a day trip, no camping--but lodging can be had nearby. There are tour bus trips available from vendors in SF.
