It has names - Luna, Selene, etc. - although they're not as commonly used as, say, Io or Titan. We're just very solipsistic little monkeys, so "our" moon is The Moon, "our" sun is The Sun, etc.

No. But you can rent a space in a lot of mobile-home parks and live there in a schoolbus, or you can move the thing around (quasi-legally) from place to place (I used to have a friend who lived for two weeks at a time in various state and national parks). There are some rural areas where you can live in what's considered a "motor home" while you improve the property. But people tend to be kind of sniffy about having neighbors who might be ignoring sanitation disposal issues, etc.

Negotiated by everyone involved. Every single one is a little different. It tends to work best when people don't have a lot of insecurity and jealousy issues; it's hard to be happy your partner has a new exciting romance if you're afraid you'll be left alone. But every couple or group has to negotiate their own terms.

Everything lasts longer if you launder it in a front-loading washing machine (rather than a top-loader), because the agitator wears the fibers. Also, machine drying, even at low temperatures, wears fabrics much faster than line drying does.

If you really want sheets to last, wash them in cool water on gentle cycle (slower and shorter agitation times), don't wash them with other items, and dry them on low or no-heat, or line dry them.

My personal bete noire is sheets that pill (I'm the Princess and the Pea), so I'm very fussy about how my sheets are laundered. I treat them better than expensive clothing.
