  Can a minor press charges against another minor for assault?

  0 0 This is America. Anybody can sue anybody. There isn't much benefit to a minor suing a minor since "suing" typically refers to getting some kind of cash settlement for damages done (i.e. civil as opposed to criminal). Since the minor has no assets it would make more sense for the minor or his/her parents to sue the parents or the school because that's where the money is.   Is there a good, academic critique of the New Atheist movement written by non-Christians?

  1 0   This is not a critique of the movement but a better example of it then Dawkins is: Christopher Hitchens, God Is Not Great. Hitchens is a brilliant and very humorous writer unlike Dawkins who I have never been fond of. Also, Sam Harris has argued that science can and should be used as the guide for morality.   What would cause The Stranger to think they could actually start a ticket service? The 2010 Hump tickets are a complete failure.

  1 1 Yeah. I'd really prefer to get ripped off by the likes of Ticketmaster et al. We really shouldn't have a local company with a stellar reputation trying to provide that kind of local service when we could stick with the great options we have now. Of course if you are having a problem getting tickets, you might want to ask how you could get it fixed. This also might be best addressed to The Stranger. But if you need help from Qland, at least tell us what the problem is (you can just add it in the comments to this answer) and I'm sure someone will help you out. This is a great subject and as much as I would have liked to see the P-I, I'm even more interested in the larger landscape (I was never a P-I fan and don't consider it a loss). I hope you plan to cover Fox "News"... I would imagine that it would provide a lot of grist for both the scary and humorous side of journalism going to hell in a hand basket.
