You have to keep the windows open if you use dry ice - that's pure CO2 and you can suffocate quickly in an unventilated room.

Water-mist cooling doesn't work in humid climates for the reason you state in your last sentence.

My wife got her gum graft at this clinic, and they extracted one wisdom tooth as well because Delta Dental would cover more of the procedure that way. Very nice, professional staff like others say.

ALWAYS tip baristas. Unless you're also the cheap fuck who won't tip your bartender.

@ Rev. Smith, that's mostly fair (e.g. leftover change for drip), but pulling a good shot of espresso takes skill. Starbucks might make it seem like it's nothing, but that's why their drinks suck. It's not easy to get it just right, so a tip is definitely in order.

@ Seattle Firefly, again, if you tip a bartender, why don't you tip a barista? They do the same job, that is, pouring coffee and pouring beer take the exact amount of skill and service. Maybe you only order mixed drinks at the bar, but I don't know anyone who doesn't tip for beer.

I think Ferris Bueller might actually be a bit much for the 10-12 year olds, since it is aimed at high schoolers. But if any of you saw it when you were that age, you can speak up. (I was 16 when it came out.)

I give another thumbs up for Stand By Me.

Thanks! There are some groups here, one being Denver Urban Homesteading. I need to get involved.

I haven't been, but I heard that Yellowstone Canyon is really, really deep, like more than half a mile deep. I'd love to see that.

If you do this, you're also too close to the Grand Tetons to pass them up. If you take the state highways into northwest Colorado and then US 40 east, you can drive through Rocky Mountain National Park on US 34 (highest continuous paved road in the world, and lovely in the late spring) and connect to US 36 to get to Boulder.

Oops - time for my own reading comprehension fail, since you're going in August. Rocky Mountain is still lovely, you'll just see fewer wildflowers.
