What's wrong with the skin? Is it prone to scratching?

I can't say if there are more or better jobs in SF than in Seattle, but the job I have pays $22,000 more a year than the one I had in Seattle. On the other hand, my rent is about $700 more a month, there's a state income tax and I find I spend more money on transportation, food and medical expenses so, on the financial front, it's kind of a wash.

As for which city I personally prefer, it's tough to say. But here are the things I most miss about Seattle.

*Being able to afford an apartment in a neighborhood where nearly everything I need is within walking distance.

    *Bliss soap

*The availability of moderately-priced quality fish and seafood

    *Good Japanese food

    *The mountains

*The availability of moderately-priced quality supermarkets [in San Francisco there's Safeway and Whole Foods and, seemingly, nothing in-between]

*The availability of moderately priced quality barbershops

*A more normal progression of seasons

And here are the things I like most about San Francisco.

*The drip coffee at Philz and Bluebottle

*The chopped liver at House of Bagels

    *The Parks

    *The Museums

    *Good Chinese food

*The pork buns at Yank Sing

    *The palm trees

    *The ocean

*The rare roast beef at Whole Foods

    *The diversity
