Do you still have some ideas to take care of dogs like you answered for me a while back?

  • I am looking for a place to volunteer to take care of dogs!

If the stranger can give you my email please get it- I don't want to post it. I work with disabled people who have companion animals that significantly help their mental health but can't always walk them as much as much as the dogs would like. They are also low income so a volunteer walker would be a god send to the pups. Thank you !

  • Adult ADD: anyone good in Seattle?

I recommend Dr. Lohman (spelling? I'm on the road-sorry) at downtown group health mental health. She is experienced, trustworthy and makes you feel like you're not crazy just because you have ADD/ADHD symptoms. It took me years to follow through with a referral and she made a world of difference.

Just dust it on your floors around your bed and along your walls. It is cut so small and sharp it won't harm you but cuts up and dehydrates the critters so they die. Look up hazards if you have pets.

  • IUD - Hormonal / Emotional side effects?
    Avatar_default

If you've never had a kid, your doc may measure your cervix to see how the insertion will go. Otherwise- get the copper only IUD. It is amazing. Your periods and cramps will be worse for a while but it is SO WORTH IT. I tried every single hormonal BC and couldn't handle any of them. (crying, crazy, headaches, cramps, did I say crazy?) I'm also allergic to latex and the polyurethane condoms gave me bacterial infections. If you're in a monogamous relationship- the copper IUD is the way to go. Some ladies try the hormonal one because it does a better job of stopping your periods but your body isn't supposed to have those hormones or it would be making them for you. Good luck!

  • Is there any action I can take as a tenant to obtain a copy of my lease from my landlord?
    Avatar_default

Send a written request, along with your rent (photocopy both for your records) requesting a copy of your signed documents. State that you've left __ number of messages and requests in the letter. If you don't get a response when your check is cashed you can write or email them again or take further steps. There are a lot of laws in Seattle and King County that are very pro-tenant. Don't withhold rent just yet, as you have no legal right to do so for this matter. Are you having other problems? Are they responding to your maintenance requests? Have they broken any of their obligations? Please feel free to email me for more details or with any questions. I'm a landlord in Seattle (and a renter) and hate to see tenants not treated fairly because their landlord is an ass. There are a lot of resources out there and the law is in your favor.
