  What do people think of Antioch?

  1 0 Howdy, I as well just applied for the MHC program. So heres the deal with Antioch. It serves as one of the only MHC schools in Seattle. It has its pros and cons. The pros, Mostly everyone gets in, and its VERY liberal. The negatives, well mostly everyone gets in.... Of course over time they weed out the idiots and if they dont well shoot we have shitty therapists now out there... Antioch goes on a pass/fail system and it is mostly self reflection. The teachers are alright, but some mostly suck. The people who go there are mostly hippies or weirdos... But the education is phenomenal, and alot of the class set up is going through your own issues at hand, which is helpful especially when trying to become a mental health counselor. Their Drama therapy program is stupid, but the art therapy is good. NOW this being said, this is from 2 recent graduates and both were satisfied and unsatisfied.   debt consolidation vs bankruptcy?

  0 0 To be honest, I wouldn't do either. Bankruptcy looks horrible as does Debt consoladation places. I have done the debt places, and my credit got worse. He only has 10K in credit card debt and 12k in student loans. It really isnt that much. Student loans are debt that will be paid for the rest of his life. Go to IBR.com and sign up there. I would also pay as much as you can to the credit card companies. The thing they dont tell you is that they have to take what you pay, regardles of if they say they are going to sue you or garnish wages, they cannot, because you are paying them something each month. Also on the car thing, my car was repo'd as well and I said forget it, I am not going to be paying on somehting that I am not driving. Which is funny, because the bank agreed.   For those who are transplants in Seattle: What do you wish you would have known about Seattle BEFORE moving here?

  2 3 People are not friendly here. It is very clickish. Seattle is expensive, if you live in settle or somewhat on the outskirts youre ok, move to kent etc washington is a whole new realm. There isnt much to do here, unless you are into music, or going out. If you ride the bus, it takes about an hour to get anywhere.   0 0 Well if you did not sign the ticket saying you recieved a ticket then you shouldnt and would not be charged with a DUI... I would just pay the ticket and see, if you do receive a notice for a court date regarding some DUI I would then hire an attorny or public deffender... PS dont waste your money on a lawyer, they dont do shit, and PD do the same thing lawyers do.. Meltom commented about 1 year ago

  0 0 are you sure? because when i received mine, I didnt think I received one either. Then 3 months later I did receive one.... BUT if not, I would just pay the ticket, if you go to court, the judge may look at this and wonder why you refused all the tests if you werent drinking. ALSO make sure you still have a valid drivers liscense. Usually when you refuse a field test your liscense automatically gets suspeded for 90 days Meltom commented about 1 year ago

  0 0 I went into petco and asked how much it would be to get my dog groomed, she told me then said on the date of the appointment i would have to bring in all vaccine history and liscensing papers, Unfortunately I have a rescue dog and have not finished the adoption papers.
