Old Village is great. Real charcoal in the BBQ (most have gas). Tip for those who complain about slow service in Korean restaurants: Ring the doorbell mounted next to your table.

Downtown would be better for everyone who doesn't actually live on Capitol Hill.

Excellent answer. I just started watching EPL in earnest last season. The two teams I got the most excited about: West Ham and Blackpool, so that didn't end well for me. I'm not sure what to do this season.

Yes ... this one. I have grass allergies and always suffer more when I visit Oregon.

I think this is a shroom-worthy answer. I agree that this is a pertinent question (it certainly doesn't deserve any down votes, much less 7 of them). I'm about 99% certain that Dan Savage himself raised a similar question a few years back in some Slog post or podcast, but I can't find it!

Nice! That seems like a good deal, and more than enough power for 4 days. Thanks for the shroom!

An inverter will take 12VDC from a battery, and convert it to 120VAC, like from a wall outlet. Depending on your load, the efficiency of this process will be anywhere from 50-90%. In other words, powering a 60 Watt appliance will require anywhere from 66-120 Watts of battery power if you use an inverter.

So, it really doesn't matter how fancy of an inverter you have, the bottom line is it will be a waste of power. Since your machine runs on DC, just run it off of DC.
