I've been taking my knives to Epicurean Edge in Kirkland for years. I've tried several other options including Bob Tate, QFC, Sur la Table. Though I was initially pleased with Bob Tate's sharpening, my knives lost their edges quickly. Maybe the blades were over heated and softened when sharpened? QFC and Sur la Table may have been cheaper, but the edges were TERRIBLE! I don't care how little I paid, if the knife is not well sharpened! Each time I've had my knives sharpened by Epicurean Edge, the knives have come back sharper than when they were new and they have kept their edge for a long time.
Also, the staff at Epicurean Edge also really seems to know a lot about the stuff that they sell.
