Veggies in general. The more hardier veggies are the best for grilling, but a few delicate ones can hold up (green onion for one). I've done it where I've grilled an entire dinner. Asparagus marinated in olive oil, salt, and garlic is especially yummy!!! Grilled corn is good too, wrap it in tinfoil with butter and salt and add it to the grill at the same time as your burgers.
Pretty much any meat product can be grilled. I love to cook pork chops on the grill, they stay more moist that way.
Maybe buy a grilling cookbook or look up some stuff online. Just have fun!!

TOMATOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously, dried tomatos are the yummiest thing ever!!!! I could (and probably have) eat pounds at a time.
Dried bannanas are a (VERY) close second. Pretty much any fruit is good dried, mangos come to mind. Guava too.
Just mess around with it. Have some fun. Think of dried fruits, and veggies that you like to buy at the store; and then try it at home.
I would study up on how to do meat though, like researching it online too. Cause I could see that going seriously wrong if you mess it up.
Also, funfact, the racks in your drier are PERFECT for freezing fruit so it's all individual and not one giant fruity iceblock. It especially works great for berries.

ProTip: Always make 2 or 3 times what you THINK you might need. You always think 10 large tomatos would be enough... it never is.

  • What interesting/fun/non-trashy-plastic/non-candy items to put in a pinata?

They have really small things of play-dough, that are like an ounce or something. I see packs of them all the time at around halloween, so I don't know if you could find them this time of year.
Also, small packs of crayons, kid jewlery, small bean bag toys, stickers, little bouncy balls, money (of the coin variety), little boxes of raisins, kid makeup, all sorts of things!
    Hope this helps!!!

  • What are your favorite extra-super-good places for soup?

If you have an afternoon free you should try your local farmer's market. The hot food vendors generally have a couple of soups to choose from & they usually use ingrediants from the market when possible. Ask other vendors who they recomend, they shouldn't steer you wrong.

  • What's the best way to freeze soup?

I run a bakery-type business at a local farmer's market. We make a couple soups each saturday and sometimes have a bit left over. We generally just use freezer bags. We of course let the soup cool down to room temp first. I have noticed that it's not a good idea to freeze cooked potatos, the texture gets weird... But other than that you should be good to go.
