  What does a 'star' in a movie listing mean?

  0 0 I would assume either it's a pic (ie not to be missed) or it could be one of the events that cast or crew will be in attendance (some siff stuff has q&a sessions with those involved). In general stars are good things, signifiers of better than average, but if the movie has a star beside a certain time but not others I'd go with the latter guess. It could also mean that it was local, but why care what it means, it's singled out with a positive, so just take a chance and see it. That's the whole point of siff to ignore the fact that we have decent weather and gamble on a movie. If you hate it you're out a bit of cash and a few hours of sunshine, it's not like you're choosing a dentist, you're choosing a few hours of escapism If it sounds like something you'd like see it, if its not up your alley skip it and don't stress about the star. sublevelthree answered in Film 8 days ago Answer, comment & read 2 more answers »

  0 0 Rhubarb is bitter unless it is cooked, are you cooking the stalks or trying to eat it raw? Steer clear of the leaves, they contain poisons ( you'd have to eat alot of them but toxic is toxic).   0 0 I haven't listened to much punk since 95... But there are a few places to check out. The fun house (it's moving don't know where) when the bigger bands come through they're usually at the arena shows (or bumbershoot or sasquach, if you can get a ride I'd suggest the latter as the line up for bumbershoot has been pretty poor lately). If you come to any of the vera shows for punk bands the kids there can point you to the house venues if you re looking to play those are probably the best place to start vetting potential band mates and figure out what kind of off the radar (and usually pretty cool) stuff is going on Good luck sublevelthree commented 11 days ago

  I'm moving to seattle in the end of september I wonder if anybody can tell me what places should I go to got to to know the music scene?

  3 0 What kind of music are you looking to play. We have a pretty diverse music scene so knowing that can help One thing to check out when you get to town is the vera project. They are a great resource for musicians ( they have a recording studio that you can take classes at and rent for pretty cheap.) It's an all ages focus and also has a venue and a screen print shop for making merch/posters.   how to add a sunset sunrise timer webservice

  1 0 What exactly is this? Does it just tell you when sunrise and sunset occur? If so there are probably a bunch of phone apps out there that are less hassle than a web service ( and how is that a service, it's not like it can actualy change what happens in the sky). In general a bit more info in the question will produce more results on this site.
