  Has anyone worked in the Pike Place Market?

  1 0 Bion Satir is right, it is more fun working there than just going as a shopper. I worked there for a few months and it was a real fun community to work with. And I think it is just like any other place around, as far as 'getting in'.   Rentable cabin on the Olympic Peninsula?

  How do you handle it when people consistently mispronounce your name?

  4 0 This might just be your 'thing', the 'thing' that you have to deal with your entire life. I have three 'things' I have to deal with - one of them being my name - and I am lucky I don't have more. And you know what? After correcting people once or twice, it isn't worth my effort to say anything anymore. If they are good people I can take this name for them. It is their designation of me. Fine. I once let a co-worker call me a different version of my name the whole time I worked with him. Another guy never quite got it right, but he was Vietnam vet from Virginia - what am I gonna do about that? Stop working with him? No, he was a nice guy!   I have rough, dry, sore hands from frequent washing/sanitizing; recommendations for restoring softness and comfort?
