  What are the best assisted living facilities in Seattle?

  0 0 Don't know if it's too late, but check out Medicare.gov. They have reviews of nursing and assisted living facilities. I strongly encourage you to look into adult family homes, depending on her needs. My Dad had colon cancer and was on Medicaid, and we were able to have a visiting doctor care for him weekly (in addition to his in-office appointments), as well as several different types of visiting nurses. No matter where you go, please, please be involved. Ask questions about her condition, her care, her nutrition and mostly, her medications. Too often family gets too busy to visit and be involved, but it is critical, not only to her physical well-being, but emotionally as well.   Is parking for 60 secs with your hazards on a traffic infraction?

  10 0 I had a really snarky response typed, but you seem to be asking a genuine question, so I'll cut to the chase. It is a parking violation, though it's unlikely that a cop will happen by during that short time frame. However, those spots are designated for handicapped people for a reason. Please take the time to find a regular spot, even if it's just for a minute.   Best lunch around the Pike Place Market?

  2 0 Three Girls Bakery! They're in a temporary spot downstairs from the Crepe place. Ask around... they're worth finding. They've been in Pike Place since 1912 had have the BEST salmon sandwich (and the egg salad ain't half bad either)! Also, check out Beecher's Cheese on the corner of Pine across the street from the market. They make their cheese on-site, and their Mac & Cheese is absolutely delicious! If you're looking for a treat afterward, I highly recommend The Confectional (on the other side of Pine heading South from Beecher's). They make tons of flavors of single-serving cheesecakes, and also have mini-bites.
