  • Should I avoid buying a Subaru?
    Bikeedited_small

Hey everyone, cut that out. Subarus know no race/gender/sexuality.

I had an '86 GL wagon with on demand 4WD. No head gasket problems but the oil pump went, which was an cheap repair.

That car took me to Snoqualmie Pass and beyond in all weather conditions and it was a champ. I bought it at 104k miles and it went to 200k just fine.

And if yours ever needs repairs, take it to Superior Subaru in Burien. Steve is the best.

  • Where is a good place to do some beginner level snowshoeing?
    Bikeedited_small

Any place you hike in the summer is prime for snowshoeing in the winter.

But if you haven't done it in years, G. Barnes has the right idea in joining a group outing. They'll teach you about party separations (potty breaks), how to scale a hill (dig in your toes) and not going near a tree well (very dangerous).

Snowshoeing-what a great sport! All you need are snow shoes and gators. I mean, you can even wear jeans!

Oh, you'll want to pick up a Sno Park Pass.

    Have a great time.

It's the 2nd Allstars. The first one was in 2009. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1497626/ It was between Daniel Vosovic and Korto. Daniel won, Korto was robbed.

  • Are there art galleries in Seattle that would welcome a volunteer?
    Bikeedited_small

I think what you should do is visit several galleries to zero in on a gallery you'd like to work/volunteer at. Then, go in and introduce yourself.

The Seattle Art Museum also has a volunteer program. That's like a big gallery.
