20+ people walked out within the first 20mins of the press screening for this movie. Majority felt uncomfortable with the graphic male on male loving. I don't mind that at all, just the quality of the movie wasn't that great. Too bad...

NSFW NSFW NSFW!!!! YouTube Trailer for the movie.

  • Can you review that SIFF film you just saw in 100 words or less?

    Man at Bath
Not all the penises in the world can save a movie. And that is coming from someone who really likes penises.

    This story rocks!

  • What's the best at SIFF for kids and family?

Did you know that there is a SIFF specialist on here? Clinton is answering all the SIFF questions. He is a programmer for SIFF. So you should ask your question there. http://questionland.com/topics/siff

Here is the Films for Families program.

A lot of people are excited about Kung Fu Panda 2 and Winnie the Poo. (I'm talking about adults here... lol)

  • Have you heard success stories of people making dates/relationships from another they first met at a SIFF movie?

I've actually befriended someone I met through a SIFF movie last year. We both use 4square and he messaged me and asked if I was going to SIFF movies, and if that is how I was becoming Mayor to a couple of theaters. So we figured out what movie we were both going to see and ended up meeting and befriending each other from that.

I also befriend someone in line at a SIFF movie. I noticed he was at same movie prior and we talked about how awful it was. lol After that we have been going to movies together all year long. So get in line early to meet people! lol Go to the midnight movies. Higher percentage of intoxicated people looking to have fun...Higher percentage go to the English movies. Not many intoxicated people like to read subtitles.

There are inexpensive Saturday parties. They include a movie and small party. A little more intimate than the big galas.

Galas you have a huge amount of people you can meet. Wait it out during the parties, it is easier to meet people the later it gets. People have drank a little by then, usually people actually dance at Opening Gala by end of night, and the boring couples have left by then.

Volunteer for SIFF. I've met LOTS of people from volunteering for them. Work at the venues, you get to meet other volunteers AND talk to the people who are attending the movie.

Get on the SIFF Facebook and Twitter. Sometimes you can connect through people on there. And if you both like same thing or interested in same movie, it is easy to make a plan to meet someone at movie you are both interested in.

See lots of movies! Easiest way to break ice with another fellow movie goer. Someone asks someone what movies they've seen. What their favorite film of festival was. Then you can kind of find out if you are compatible with person if you agree. But if you haven't seen any, then you really have nothing to talk about... ;-)

Thanks! I knew you would be able to find out the 'real' deal.

Not sure if you are able to, but maybe you should delete your initial answer and this thread and put 'real' answer. Some people may read and just look at first answer and think that is it.

    Thank you!
The back of the Full Series Passes are always a little confusing, and sometimes don't always hold true. It says that "3D/IMAX" is under the portion that says additional ticket or pass is required to attend it. As I was asking, I thought it sounded kind of stupid to ask because it says on back of pass that it does NOT include it. But I had to, because it seemed odd that a screening that is same cost as normal screening is not included. So now I'm glad I asked.

oops... I said "local" twice. 2nd one should read "well made".

  • Anyone looking for SIFF recomendations? Here I am!
    Small_small

I know this is always asked...
What movies are the most talked about/anticipated?
which movies do you think will sell out or come close?

I was thinking possibilities would be:
How to Die in Oregon (Local, heart tugger and local)
Buck (Lots of fans of The Horse Whisperer book/movie)

Do "Toy Story: Hawaiian Vacation + a Look at Cars 2"(3D) and "Tornado Alley"(IMAX) cost extra if you have FULL SERIES Pass? If so, how much?
