  1 0 You may want to also do a search on Ask MetaFilter. It's pretty thorough when it comes to these types of questions. Reading it helped me figure some things out when I was in a similar situation. ask.metafiler.com Tags such as: change, debt, education, life, career, depression, stress, etc will bring up questions similar to yours. ask.metafiler.com/tags/life or ask.metafiler.com/tags/life+school.   Where is the best place to donate board games and puzzles?

  3 0 Psych wards and mental facilities would also appreciate them greatly, as they don't allow for sharp things, not even crayons. The books are often terrible as well.   Help! Why can't I re-download Google Chrome to my Mac?

  0 0 If you're using Safari, it's probably in your downloads folder, which is in the sidebar of a Finder window. You've probably downloaded it several times now. Do a Spotlight search for googlechrome.dmg.   Best portable hard drive?

  0 0 I've had my LaCie Rugged portable for two years. Never had a single problem and I keep my music library on it (w/Firewire, but I have an older Macbook). I have other externals for backup but this one is the dreamiest.
