  Dental vacation in Mexico? Is this a good idea to save thousands or a risky proposition?

  0 0 Major beach areas have plenty of English speaking, USA trained dentists and doctors. It's well worth the extra cost of staying Puerto Vallarta or Cabo instead of El Paso to cross over to Juarez. Plenty of cheap hotel packages in PV or Cancun for recovery time. Any in-land city with some kind of expat community has a clinics for their needs. Look at boards for recommendations. SMA/Guanajuato, Guadalajara, Oaxaca, Cuernavaca etc. I'm happy with fillings from a GTO dentist for $15 each. A year later I got a filling in the US that failed and needed a root canal, if I hadn't been in pain I would have gone to Mex to fix it. (Palin's bus tour is about as important as Weiner's weiner) The new CBS News anchor Scott Pelley was criticized this week for opening his first night with Iraq and Afghanistan instead of Weiner or Palin.   can I freely admit in polite society that I won't vote for a Mormon?

  1 0 Don't move to Utah, Arizona, Nevada, Idaho, or Eastern Washington or Oregon. Even a straight D ticket will include Mormons. Anywhere else you'd be pretty safe. Had you lived in Nevada in 2010 would you have voted for Sharron Angle or not voted(still giving her an advantage)? (Purely hypothetical why would anyone live in Nevada? for some reason they do.)   2 0 Fuck My Life/Que Pena Tu Vida! Ever watched an Apatow comedy about an immature 30yo asshole and wished it was in Spanish and set in Santiago, Chile? Here's your chance! There's even a Chilean Zach Galifianakis. As an improvement over US bromances, there's no ambivalence about calling the Andy Samberg lookalike lead un pendejo(huevon, puta madre, etc.). It has the POV of an abuelita telling her grandson to get his shit together, instead of a 48yo millionaire with barely veiled hostility towards his wife.   How long do ya'll need to read this book?

  0 0 AVFTGS a very fast read, in a good way. Once it's in your hands, perhaps 3 nights before sleeping or six bus trips and a lunch hour or one afternoon of dedicated reading.   Who's got the best bagels in Seattle?

  1 0 Eltana's "Montreal-style" woodfired bagels are awesome, but they are a different entity than real "New York" bagels. The Eltana's are much better than any other bagels in Seattle. Almost every "New York" bagel I've tried on the west coast is just puffy white bread. Can anyone comment how they compare with real Montreal bagels?   Okay: Which donuts are the BEST donuts in Seattle?
