  Some albums that you tried really, really hard to like?

  0 0 I forget what album it was but Tory Amos, a long time ago. I tried to read her lyrics to figure out what the songs were about but even with the lyrics right in front of me in print I couldn't figure out what the hell she was talking about. I don't necessarily need to understand every line - my favorite band now is System of a Down and sometimes there's a verse here and there I can't figure out but I usually understand the gist of the song.   What is up with the Seattle dating scene?

  If you won the lottery, would you move?

  0 0 Hell yeah! My place is too small, not to mention I'm renting. I wouldn't want to go too far, though, because my kids are in a great school district.   Would you rather wet your pants on the bus, or throw up on the bus?

  Which is better for adult cats: wet or dry food?

  0 0 My vet prefers dry but only if it's a high-quality brand like Science Diet. It has to be high-moisture and high-protein. You won't find it in the supermarket though but they do have it at stores like PetSmart and PetCo, and of course the vet's office. I still like to give my cat canned food also because he loves it so much. I just give him tiny amounts of the canned food at a time so he doesn't get fat.   1 9 I don't know for sure but I would toss it just in case the bugs are carrying some disease or another. And next time, you might want to be more careful about washing the cilantro first. A little rinsing won't cut it. You need to really scrub with your hands under the running water and inspect everything as you go, and then again afterwards. There is a vegetable rinse you can buy, but I've never used it - maybe someone else can tell you if it's any good.   Why does humidity make hot days so much more miserable?

  1 0 It has to do with the fact that the sweat you sweat out does not evaporate but hangs around on your skin making you feel wet. Also, I find it harder to breathe when it's hot and humid because the air just feels heavier - it probably IS heavier because of the moisture.
