    Yes, he was one of many serial killers operating in this area, especially in the 1990s, when it seemed like body parts were being found by hikers nearly every day in some forest or park. At one point, a working theory was that Ted Bundy, another local monster, may have been responsible.

    There was a Green River Task Force, formed in 1984 and tasked with finding the Green River Killer. Then-Sheriff (now US Representative) David Reichert was part of that effort for a couple of decades...

    Isn't the term "schizophrenia" sort of an outdated catch-all for a broad and sometimes unrelated range of disorders?

    Don't give up that easy! I replaced the heating element in my dryer several years ago, and replaced a blown terminal block recently. Neither part cost anywhere near as much as a new dryer.

    Yeah, it is pretty pricey, but sounds like it's half to a third as heavy as most other options.

    You might be able to try one out at the Cabela's store in Lacey...

    Definitely read Willis' "Doomsday Book" if you like Passage at all. I pick that novel up almost once a year to re-read - amazing stuff.

    Also agreeing with Mieville - I took "The City & The City" to the beaches of Maine this summer and "Kraken" is next, on my nightstand.
