  Anyone have any experiences with replantable Christmas trees? Would you recommend it?

  4 0 Swanson's Trees for Salmon program let's you buy a live tree for the holidays, then return it to Swansons who turns around and plants it along the salmon stream in Carkeek Park. Worked great for us last year and we plan to do it again.   Which are the best child-friendly Seattle bars?

  6 0 Hales is a virtual jungle gym on Sat & Sun mornings; great outdoor seating, on the Burke-Gilman, and they are pretty good sports about it. Barking Dog is pretty good (and has some subtle big screen TVs for sports watching). For microbrew aficonados, kids are allowed in the non-bar section of Naked City. Also, we've had great luck at the Pig & Whistle. Ditto Tangletown. Of course, I won't tell you my favorite place, because I don't want it overrun by other people's kids.
