Sugar's bakery at on Madison near Boren, baked fresh every morning, try their crossants and brioches also....they are perfection!

  • What is the worst book you've ever read? Not disappointing, but clearly just bad?

The Kite Runner, ugh. It was so full of redundant cliched metaphor's I couldn't finish it.

Aw thanks! It's funny, I just started using Questionland and did a search about psoriasis to see if I could help anyone, and here was the perfect question from just a week ago!

My patches completely went away after the detox, which was surprising to me because I have really fair skin and scar easily. There was one small patch on my leg that left a bit of a shadow but it went away eventually. It's been a year since I did a detox (I did one about a year after the one that got rid of the psoriasis, even though there weren't any patches) and I've had a few little spots surface, usually near my eyes which is really annoying. For some reason my psoriasis has always been the most prevalent on my face and scalp. I think it helped when I stopped dying my hair.

I don't really follow the diet, in fact I'm drinking hot chocolate right now, lol. Whenever it starts to flair up again I just take lots of supplements (especially Evening primrose), eat more veggies and avoid nightshades, which seem to be a big trigger for me. I use to drink bio-genesis detox powder (which I took a lot during my detoxes) every morning but it's gross so I stopped. Being aware of the triggers has influenced me to lead a healthier lifestyle for sure, but I'd hardly say I deprive myself. I know it's daunting, when I first saw the list of things I couldn't eat I was like FUCK! and it was really hard but totally totally worth it. It'll take varying amounts of time to get over it depending on how severe your case is and how long you've had it, especially if you're not doing a full on detox.

Cool I'll have try it! So you've had both? Biogenesis is so gross! I did a detox where I had to drink it 2-3 times a day, it was horrible. I still forced myself to drink it almost every morning for a year, but I just can't do it anymore!

Yeah I have the yogi tea, it's pretty good! I was hoping for something a little more substantial, like a meal replacement kind of thing to start the day.

Oo me! I've been obsessed with photography since I was 14, graduated from PCNW in 2006 and worked for Jock Sturges for 4 years. I've only done 4 weddings so I offer a significantly reduced rate, even though I have over a decade of experience, especially with candid photography.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention he shares a house so I will actually be living with four dudes. Yikes, that's a lot of farts.

Yeah he does fart an awful lot, at some point it will probably stop making me laugh. Thanks that's just what I needed to hear!

LOL, that is good advice! There's a nice park near his house, plus he works & goes to school. Also I have a lot of friends in the area so I can crash elsewhere if we really get on each others nerves. I'm not sure if I will stay there over the summer, but it seems likely.

I just turned 27, he's 23. I'm his first serious girlfriend. We are so compatible it's crazy! We have similar taste in books, movies and music. He's really good at saving money and is really responsible. I just started birth control. I'm not sure how much I'll be able to contribute at first, but I want to split things 50/50 and will keep a tab if I fall behind. The last thing I want to do is be a financial burden or take him for granted. We were planning on moving in together in the fall (he's moving to Olympia) so this will be a good trial. If it doesn't work out I guess I'll stay in Portland (all my friends live there).
Thanks, these are all good things to consider.
