Debbie, didn't you think that a victim of child rape should get in touch with their parents on another question on here? The parents that raped the child? Not sure you are very credible on matters or morality.

First of all, only one person in this entire thread was the victim of child abuse and child rape. That was Just Me, they don't sound bitter but frankly curious if they should make contact with their family or not.

Perhaps a person who was the victim of both physical and sexual abuse should answer the question. Or to put it bluntly, If anyone on this thread was RAPED would you be wanting to make contact with that person again? Let's keep it simple.

I really doubt that anyone would and I know a couple of people who have been victims of this sort of CRIME & they think it's a BAD idea to make contact with the CRIMINALS who perpetrated the CRIME. They are no longer Just Me's parents, the abdicated that role when they attacked and raped Just Me. At that moment ANY responsibility Just Me had to his/her parents was OVER.

If Just Me does chose to make contact it should be in the presence of law enforcement to make the appropirate arrests. Rape does not have a statute of limitations. The parents should be in JAIL.
