Yeah, I definitely want to avoid the cracking of jokes and being overly invasive during weddings/events. It is about the customer overall. Thank you for the input!

Hey Malcolm, have you done it yourself? I actually have not yet, so I am curious what the line of work is actually like. The business I want to start would focus more on customers that really care about music at their event/wedding, and aim at people who don't exactly want typical stuff and do not want a cheesy DJ. But maybe there isn't enough of a market for that sort of business. It isn't that I am not willing to do more typical events, as I am not a snob (mostly), but I do want to distinguish myself. Thanks for the terse input!

Why would anyone would do that? That is messed up, and I certainly would never do that.

  • I have rough, dry, sore hands from frequent washing/sanitizing; recommendations for restoring softness and comfort?

I had been trying various creams and lotions for years and years with little effect until I went to a Dermatologist to address my dry skin issues and he recommended Cetaphil. It is the only brand that has worked for me, for what that is worth. Until the moment I started using that stuff I never thought I would find a moisturizer that would work. Good luck!

They have their own City of Books, the Streetcars are great, there are lots and lots of strip clubs of all ilks, the Hoyt Arboretum, a lot less traffic and car clusterfuck, not many terrifying hills like Seattle, the 24 Hour Church of Elvis. They also have Ground Kontrol, which is a pretty large arcade place with all kinds of games.

  • Recommendations for a wedding songs?

Unlike the other answers, I am not familiar with the different parts of the ceremony itself, but I would recommend the following songs in general for mushy feelings -

David Bowie - "Be My Wife"
    Sparks - "Marry Me"
Magnetic Fields - "The Book of Love" (I personally would play "Take Ecstacy with Me")
Phyllis Dillon - "Don't Stay Away" (it is about unrequited love, but it is s beautiful song and the sentiment is sweet)
    Betty Wright, "Just You"
Sugar Pie Desanto - "I Love You So Much"
Willie Nelson, "Can I Sleep In Your Arms"
Little Willie John, "Need Your Love So Bad"
Lefty Frizzell, "I Love You a Thousand Ways"
Solomon Burke, "I'm Hanging Up My Heart for You" (he will stop his slipping around for you)
Dusty Springfield, "Make It With You"

Yes, to clarify, I do want to go to grad school and that is why I am considering taking some extra classes before I apply to prove I can do well at something. What complicates matters is that I went to Evergreen, which has both a positive and negative effect on this situation. I don't have grades, but I have an awful lot of "lost credit" and faculty noting I didn't complete work. That is the problem, and I fear no grad school would accept me because of this.
