  • What website do you recommend for writing product reviews?
    Finn3goof_small

Other than Amazon? There's reviews for nearly everything there. I don't think I would use any site that general and wouldn't trust it much (just like I don't trust Amazon much).

For example, when it comes to TVs and other home electronics I always check out avsforum.com. The site is by and for uber geeks that will dissect an LED TV to pieces for days on a single thread. They can also dumb it down for idiots like me. I just don't need to go anywhere else.

I also use specialty sites for other tech stuff, motorcycles, fly fishing gear, camping gear, etc.

If you do find something, though, I may wish to check it out so good luck! I'm a habitual review reader and very occasional contributor.

  • I want to give my boyfriend head but i dont like precum in my mouth is there anyway i can get over that, cause i would like to please him aslo.
    Finn3goof_small

I know nothing about giving a dude head (that's my story and I'm sticking with it) and I don't know nearly enough about getting head as I would like (being married and all- don't start with me) but iirc the best hummers didn't include 100% mouth on cock action. Or even 50/50. There was a lot of fist pumping, spitting, some teasing and assorted other naughty things that made them great.

Is your BF a real dribbler? Like he just oozes tons of precum as you're going off on him? If so then you may just need to bite the bullet and get used to it. I've gotten used to plenty of stuff that eventually seemed not so bad and then downright hot.

If he just dribbles at some point but not all the way through then just work it with your fist until you pump the precum out. I imagine it would ebb and flow so ebb=suck and flow=pump.

    good luck.

  • Best roto rooter company?
    Finn3goof_small

The good news is that they all seem to charge around the same thing. The bad news is it is north of $160. My sample size is small but over 20 years I have used 3 different companies and have talked to many other homeowners about whom it is that they have used. Roto rooter and others advertise $99 or something like that but somehow always wind up charging $160.

Russ's advice is good. Avoid using lye (liquid plumr etc) if you can. I also prefer to use a big stew pot that can hold a few gallons of boiling water. I have burned myself doing this but that just gets mixed up with all the other burns and tattoos on my hands and arms.

Most clogs can be handled by even the most incompetent "not so handymen" including myself. As a matter of fact, it's one of the few things I do around the house myself.

There are different models of snakes available that are inexpensive. I have a hand shake that goes about 4 feet in to a pipe that works well most of the time. I also have a 20ft snake that fits on the end of a drill or can be hand cranked that works ok.. Doing both the boiled water and snake have worked very well for me. The snakes cost around $20-$50. Before you even try that use a wire hanger and see what happens.

There are alos various combinations of salt, boiled vinegar and bkaing soda you can try. Try google as I don not remember the proportions.

  • Are there any Community Supported Fisheries (CSF) active in the Puget Sound region?
    Finn3goof_small

We have a native alaskan fellow in my neighborhood that sells his catch to folks that know him. We're in greenwood. He's just pops by once in a while and I give him $20-$50 and he gives me ridiculous amounts of halibut, salmon and shrimp.

I head down to the Loki on the West Wall at Fisherman't Terminal once in a while. Not CSF but Pete is real charecter and it is family biz as far as I know. http://lokifish.com/index.php

The last CSA I knew of that failed was "Sea Monster" started by a very well meaning if a bit flighty fisherman fellow but he wound up on "get jesse" for not delivering.

  • Where can we find those nifty pastic 2x4s made from recycled milk jugs?
    Finn3goof_small

    Check out:
    http://www.newwood.com/

they are in Elma and Alki Lumber will order it for you. I think they'll order Trex as well. Newwood is in 8x4 sheets, though, not dimensional lumber.

  • Is 10W-30 motor oil really that much different from 5w-20 oil?
    Finn3goof_small

I put almost anything into my 86 Toyota pickup and used to use used motorcycle oil on a dodge van I had. 300k miles so far. But the 22R motor is a miracle of Japanese engineering.

You probably don't need to change your oil more than every 5K miles and good filters last over 10K IME. The 3500 mile thing is more about jiffy lube selling its service rather than good mechanical protocol. City fleet (and many other fleet) vehicles are often only changed at 5-7K miles. I’ve heard of 10K intervals and longer on newer vehicles.

Do you have an owner's manual? The manufacturer's recommendations are a good guideline but even those tend to err on the side of more maintenance rather than less.

I feel very differently about my motorcycles and for those I use specific oils and change them based on very different schedules since they usually rev higher and run hotter, are older and need more of the old timey additives which are not in modern oils and, in general, are far more precious to me than any car.

  • What is the equivalent of the 3000 mile oil change for most motorcycles?
    Finn3goof_small

I own or ahve owned at least 20 motorcycles. currently own two with one on the way.

Maintenance sechedules vary. What is the bike? Year, model, displacement is handy. 2 stroke or 4 stroke?

Bikes tend to get better mileage but many also tend to put out more emissions than a 72 valiant. 2 strokes are flat out eco-killers. Modern fuel infected bikes are better.

Big ass and older bikes around 1000cc should be in the vacinity of 40mpg and many newer bikes around 500cc or smaller can get 60mpg or better.

I put tends of thousands of miles on my bikes every year (well, not this year) and change oil regularly using synth and synth blends for some bikes and dino for others. I rearely go more than 3K miles and on older bikes like Thunderbolts and Eldorados for instance you may want to change the oil every 1000 miles (a bit extreme but these bikes are special).

  • What can you do with pistachio shells? Environmentaly friendly ideas?
    Finn3goof_small

Pistachio shells are great for kid's art projects but for most folks the best thing to do is compost them.
