Oh I agree...I've been relatively lucky in that most of the vegetarians I currently know tend to kind of keep to themselves and don't really bring up their diets, although there have been some in the past who were kind of insufferable c***s about it. Most of the people at my office didn't even know I was veg for at least a year and a half, until a situation came up where I needed to disclose it (think it was a lunch meeting with the boss or something).

Yeah I distinctly remember tofutti getting a little marshmallow-y, in terms of texture, as it melted, which didn't do much to win me over. So Delicious always had the consistency of actual dairy ice cream. And texture is one of those things that makes or breaks it for me.

Tofutti is alright. The texture's a bit too gummy for my taste though...it never quite gets that "creamy" texture.
